About Bothell Mold & Moisture
We're a mold remediation and moisture company that works on Bothell houses: the crawl spaces, attics, bathrooms and basements that give this town its musty winters.
What we believe about mold work
Most people who call us are worried and have already been told two different stories by two different companies. Our job is to replace that with facts: where the water is coming from, how far the growth has spread, what it takes to fix, and what it costs, in writing.
- Find the water first. Mold is a symptom. If the moisture isn't fixed, the mold comes back, and you've paid twice.
- Remove it, don't hide it. We follow the IICRC S520 standard: containment, negative pressure, physical removal and HEPA cleaning. No fogging, spraying or painting over mold instead of removing it.
- Independent sign-off. An outside tester checks our work before the plastic comes down. We don't grade ourselves.
- Straight quotes. Line-item scopes you can compare with anyone else's, and no pressure to sign the same day.
- Honest about small jobs. If it's a 2-square-foot spot you can clean yourself, we'll tell you how.
Credentials and licensing
Washington has no state mold license, so ask any remediator for three things before you hire them: an active WA L&I contractor registration, IICRC mold certification (AMRT) for the people doing the work, and proof of liability insurance.
Where we work
All of Bothell on both sides of the county line: King County (98011) downtown and to the south, and Snohomish County (98012 and 98021) in Canyon Park, Thrasher's Corner and the north end. We also work in nearby Kenmore, Woodinville, Mill Creek, Kirkland, Brier, Lynnwood and Maltby. See the full service area.

How we write this website
Everything here is written for Bothell homeowners and checked against the standards and public sources we cite on each page. Prices are published ranges unless we say they're ours. Health topics are kept general, and we'll always tell you to talk to your doctor about symptoms. Read our editorial policy.
Not sure what you're dealing with?
Send a few photos and tell us where it is. We'll tell you honestly whether it's a DIY job or a professional one, and give you a rough range before anyone drives out.
